Mt. Rinjani trekking trip 4 days – Mt Rinjani Trek 4 days is a fantastic trekking program for beginner and expert trekkers. This trip will take you to all sides of Rinjani Mountain and you will have more time to enjoy the spectacular view along the trek route.
The Rinjani trip program will start from Sembalun village straight to Pelawangan Sembalun and camp here. Next morning early summit attack, down to Segara Anak Lake, enjoy the hot spring water, and Camping by the lake. On day three descend to Goa Susu, take a rest at Goa Susu, and then continue to Pelawangan Torean. You will end The trek program at Torean village in the western part of Mountain Rinjani.

Mt. RINJANI TREKKING TRIP ITINERARY
DAY – 01 : HOTEL – SEMBALUN VILLAGE – PELAWANGAN SEMBALUN
You will be picked up at your Hotel at 05.00 and then 3 hours drive to Sembalun village, enjoy the sunrise on the way to Sembalun.
Arrive at Sembalun village, and meet your trekking guide and porter, we will organize your trek permit. Short briefing and warming up before the trek starts.
You will start to hike from Kandang Sapi Sembalun village to Poss 2 ( Padabalong ) through an open Sembalun Rice field, and grassland and crossing a small forest.
After taking a break and getting a snack in Poss 3, continue a gentle walk to Poss 3 ( elevation 1.800 asl ), lunch will be served here.
After lunch continue ascend through 7 steep Hills called Bukit Penyesalan ( Regret Hill ) to Pelawangan Sembalun Campsite and overnight.
DAY – 02 : PELAWANGAN SEMBALUN – RINJANI SUMMIT – SEGARA ANAK LAKE
Early wake up for summit preparation ( 02.00 ), get some coffee or tea before heading to Rinjani Summit 3726m.
Start the hike from Campsite 03.00 to Rinjani Summit elevation 3726M, your guide will assist in ascending through a difficult trail that needs extra focus and extra power.
After 3 hours ascending you will step the Rinjani Summit 3726M, enjoy the amazing sunrise and view over Lombok Island from the high point in Lombok.
2 hours descend to Campsite, break and breakfast. 12.00 re-packing and continue 3 hours descend to Segara Anak lake, enjoy the lake and hot spring water near the lake and overnight.
DAY – 03 : SEGARA ANAK LAKE – GOA SUSU – PELAWANGAN TOREAN
Breakfast at the Campsite and then repacking for the next destination. Leave the lake 09.00 and walk down to Goa Susu, and then continue to walk along the river, lunch at Kali Kecil, after lunch hike uphill to Pelawangan Torean, enjoy the spectacular waterfall from Campsite, have dinner, and overnight here.
DAY – 04 : PELAWANGAN TOREAN – DESA TOREAN – HOTEL
After breakfast, repack and continue descend to Torean village through the Torean forest for another 3,5 hours, and you will end the trek around 12.00 and get a transfer back to your Hotel or next destination.

Trekking policy
For trekkers who are not able to complete their trek and need to extend for another night at the mountain, an additional surcharge may apply for guide, porter, and logistic fees

When is the best time to do Rinjani Trekking?
April to June
Is the best weather and everything is green, sunny, and clear weather along the day, The temperature is not too cold, especially on the crater rim and summit at night the is not too cold.
July to October
This period is also a good time to trek at Rinjani however on this time, the weather is Hot, windy and dusty along the trek and you have to use a mask to go to the Summit and in the night is very cold.
November to December
Normally the rainy season starts in November but no hard rain, Some times rainy throughout the day and foggy but still OK to do trek activities.
January to March
National Park is closed for all activity at the mountain due to the rainy season and safety reasons If you still want to hike, we advise you to take a Soft trek at Pergangsingan Hills, you can do a day trek or spend a night at Pergangsingan campsite.
What you should bring to the tour program?
There are a few things you should bring and pack in your bag pack, and here are some of the items you should bring:
- Headlamp.
- Trekking Boot.
- Dry Towels.
- Short and Long Pants.
- Slipper.
- Sunblock.
- A Camera.
- First Aid Kit.
- Insect repellent.

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY
How to pay for the tour program?
To support the tour booking, we require 50% deposit in advance, and we are offering two ways of payment method.
Bank transfer to our company account which is available on the tour invoice. and another payment method is by PayPal as a quick way to pay.
Before you make a payment, it’s important to note both of payment methods. We are ( Lombok Picnic Travelindo ) not responsible for any surcharge fee or bank fee resulting from online payment or bank transfer.
The balance payment you can settle upon pickup based on a cash basis in local currency or US$
Our cancellation and re-fund policy
Before you make a tour booking, you should be careful about our cancellation and refund policy below.
For any cancellation notice of tour service due to avoidable or unavoidable reasons, we must be notified of the same in writing. The cancellation charges would be as follows:
- 7 days before the trek program, 25% cancellation fee is charged.
- 3 days before the trek program, 50% cancellation fee is charged.
- 1 day prior to the trek program or no show, NO REFUND.
- Give up after starting the trek, NO REFUND.
- If you made a canceled after trekking commencement, NO REFUND.
- If any refund, we will proceed with it and applied to your original payment method.
