The tour starts 08.30 by visiting the Lombok Museum, where you can see approximately 7000 West Nusa Tenggara relics. These relics consist of cultural, ceramic, archaeological, geological, biological and historical collections. And this place is the most complete museum in the West Nusa Tenggara region.
After the Museum, proceed to the Islamic Center Lombok, which is the biggest mosque in West Nusa Tenggara and a centre for Islamic culture, religious tourism, and spiritual activities for Lombok residents and even for local and foreign tourists.
The trip continue to Lingsar temple is the largest and holiest temple in Lombok. It’s multi-denominational, with a temple for Balinese Hindus and one for followers of Lombok’s mystical take on Islam, the Wektu Telu religion.
From Lingsar temple, you will continue the trip to Sukarara village, which is one of the villages where the women continue their weaving practice. They weave gold and silver thread to make traditional Songket and Ikat cloth with very simple looms.
Ampenan, is once the bustling trade centre of Lombok, is now a quiet yet fascinating town filled with colonial-era architecture and multicultural charm. Though no longer a business hub, this coastal town still holds many stories of the past, waiting to be discovered.
