Mt Rinjani trekking services – The itinerary of this trek package program is the same as other trekking programs, starting from Sembalun Village and ending the trek at Torean village.
The Mt Rinjani Trekking Service program 5 days 4 nights including a night stay at a guest house in Sembalun village before the trek activity.
During the trekking program you will have many opportunities to take pictures or enjoy the spectacular views, especially at the top of Mount Rinjani and Segara Anak Lake, along the way down to Torean you will see many majestic views making your trekking experience unforgettable.
The 5 days 4 nights trekking program can be done for all typical trekkers and children over 12 years old but still under parental supervision.

Mt Rinjani trekking services itinerary
Day-01: Airport – Sembalun village
Meet up at Lombok Airport with your guide and then direct transfer to Sembalun village, check-in hotel.
Day-02 : Sembalun village – Poss III – Sembalun Crater Rim
Breakfast at 07.00 and check out, meet your mountain guide for a briefing regarding the trekking procedure, and proceed with permit registration.
08.30 am start walking to pos II through the grassland and continue to pos III for a break and have your lunch after lunch continue ascending to Sembalun crater rim by passing 5 steep hills takes 3 – 4 hours to reach the campsite, camp, and have dinner here.
Day-03: Sembalun crater – Summit – Lake
Trekking to the summit will be started at 3 am and led by your guide so you are advised to wake up at 2 am for preparation, the trails to the summit are hard and steep so need extra power and focus along the trails, after 4 hours of ascend you will be in the high point in Lombok island, enjoy the amazing sunrise.
Back to the campsite and breakfast, after breakfast continue 2 hours descent to the lake, the rest of the day is spent relaxing at the lake and going into the hot springs, overnight by the lake
Day-04: Lake – Torean Campsite
Leave the lake after breakfast ascend to Goa Susu and for a short break, continue to a small river where your team prepares for your lunch. After lunch ascend to Torean Campsite and enjoy the view from the hilltop. Camping for the last night.
Day 05 – Torean Campsite – Torean village – Next destination
After breakfast continue to descend to Torean village through thick tropical forests with rich flora, and bird life. Rest stops are taken along the way and the track will end at Torean village and transfer to the next destination.

Trekking policy
For trekkers who are not able to complete their trek and need to extend for another night at the mountain, an additional surcharge may apply for guide, porter, and logistic fees

When is the best time to do Rinjani Trekking?
April to June
Is the best weather and everything is green, sunny, and clear weather along the day, The temperature is not too cold, especially on the crater rim and summit at night the is not too cold.
July to October
This period is also a good time to trek at Rinjani however on this time, the weather is Hot, windy, and dusty along the trek and you have to use a mask to go to the Summit, and on the night time is very cold.
November to December
Normally the rainy season starts in November but no hard rain, Some times rainy throughout the day and foggy but still OK to do trek activities.
January to March
National Park is closed for all activity at the mountain due to the rainy season and safety reasons If you still want to hike, we advise you to take a Soft trek at Pergangsingan Hills, you can do a day trek or spend a night at Pergangsingan campsite.
What you should bring to the tour program?
There are a few things you should bring and pack in your bag pack, and here are some of the items you should bring:
- Headlamp.
- Trekking Boot.
- Dry Towels.
- Short and Long Pants.
- Slipper.
- Sunblock.
- A Camera.
- First Aid Kit.
- Insect repellent.
- Hat.
Payment and Cancellation policy
How to pay for the tour program?
To support the tour booking, we require 50% deposit in advance, and we are offering two ways of payment method.
Bank transfer to our company account which is available on the tour invoice. and another payment method is by PayPal as a quick way to pay.
Before you make a payment, it’s important to note both of payment methods. We are ( Lombok Picnic Travelindo ) not responsible for any surcharge fee or bank fee resulting from online payment or bank transfer.
The balance payment you can settle upon pickup based on a cash basis in local currency or US$
Our cancellation and re-fund policy
Before you make a tour booking, you should be careful about our cancellation and refund policy below.
For any cancellation notice of tour service due to avoidable or unavoidable reasons, we must be notified of the same in writing. The cancellation charges would be as follows:
- 7 days before the trek program, 25% cancellation fee is charged.
- 3 days before the trek program, 50% cancellation fee is charged.
- 1 day prior to the trek program or no show, NO REFUND.
- Give up after starting the trek, NO REFUND.
- If you made a cancellation after trekking commencement, NO REFUND.
- If any refund, we will proceed with it and applied to your original payment method.
